SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): European packaging leader DS Smith announced expansion of its digital operations in Europe, by launching ePack e-commerce packaging solutions in Spain and Italy. The company already runs a full-fledged e-commerce platform in the UK. The expansion is mainly on account of significant growth forecasts to EU e-commerce by 2025.

The ePack range offers plastic-free alternatives such as paper mailing bags and insulated fibre-based boxes for delivery of materials. These 100% eco-friendly paper packaging solutions are fully recyclable. The shopping habits have undergone transformational changes over the past one year with the number of EU consumers shopping online recording massive growth.
