Consolidated production exceeded 20,000 ounces in both January and February, indicating a positive quarterly trajectory.
SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Asante Gold Corporation reported steady operational progress at its Bibiani and Chirano mines, positioning 2026 as a year of production growth and optimization. The company highlighted a seventh consecutive monthly rise in gold output at Bibiani through January, supported by increased material movement and expanded mining fleet capacity.
At Bibiani, ongoing improvements in the sulphide treatment plant and recovery optimization initiatives have boosted overall performance, with gold recovery rates rising to nearly 80% in early 2026. Despite temporary setbacks, including equipment availability issues and a southeast wall slip that impacted mine sequencing, production is expected to gradually ramp up through the year.
Meanwhile, Chirano operations showed strong momentum, with underground fleet mobilization exceeding 95% and development rates surpassing 1,100 meters per month. Consolidated production exceeded 20,000 ounces in both January and February, indicating a positive quarterly trajectory.
The company expects higher-grade ore access in the second half of 2026 to further enhance output. Asante Gold remains confident in achieving a transformative year driven by increased efficiency, stable production growth, and long-term asset development.
