Lebanon County Lumber Company Announces Layoffs

The WARN Notice says that this layoff is scheduled to begin on August 26 and will conclude on September 9, 2025.

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): A long-time lumber company that has been around for 80 years announced it will be laying off more than 100 employees at its distribution center in Lebanon County.

According to a WARN Notice filed with the Department of Labor & Industry, the Lebanon County-based Weaber Inc. will soon be initiating a sizable layoff at its distribution center located on 25 Keystone Drive.

As part of this layoff, 145 employees will be affected.

The WARN Notice says that this layoff is scheduled to begin on August 26 and will conclude on September 9, 2025.

abc27 news reached out to Weaber, Inc. for more information, but did not hear back at the time of this publication.

According to Weaber Lumber’s website, the company was established back in 1941 by Walter H. Weaber and has grown from a small local mill into one of the nation’s leading hardwood manufacturers.
