The investment comprises installation of a new NipcoFlex shoe press in the existing press section, aimed at ensuring more sustainable production. This will significantly increase the dry content, which in turn will save large amounts of steam in the dryer section. Thus, it will result in huge energy savings and significant carbon emission reduction at the plant. In addition, the higher dry content will boost line speed and production capacity.

The Koehler Group, in its recently published figures for the previous year, announced that it had invested more than 91 million euros. The company plans significant revenue boost in 2021, aided by acquisition of Zollikofer Group in April this year.
