June 25, 2025: Chinese Scrap Metal Prices Edged Higher on the Index

310 SS scrap prices were up by CNY 100 per MT as of June 25, 2025.

BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese aluminum scrap prices witnessed increase on ScrapMonster Price Index as of Wednesday, June 25, 2025. Copper and Stainless Steel scrap prices were up from the previous day. Meanwhile, Brass/Bronze and Steel scrap prices held steady on the Index.
Copper Scrap Prices
The #1 Copper Bare Bright prices were up by CNY 150 per MT.
#1 Copper Wire and Tubing price saw a jump of CNY 150 per MT.
The price of #2 Copper Wire and Tubing also increased by CNY 150 per MT.
#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices were up by CNY 50 per MT over the previous day’s price. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery witnessed no variation when compared with the day before.
Copper Transformer and Cu Yokes scrap prices were unchanged.
Cu/Al Radiators recorded no change in prices.
Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices were flat over the previous day.
Heater Cores prices held steady on Wednesday, June 25, 2025.
In the meantime, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices witnessed no change on the Index.
Aluminum Scrap Prices
6063 Extrusions recorded a jump of CNY 50 per MT over the previous day.
Aluminum Ingots also were up by CNY 50 per MT.
The prices of Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Transformers were flat.
E.C Aluminum Wire prices were up by CNY 50 per MT on the Index.
Old Cast and Old Sheet prices increased by CNY 50 per MT each on June 25, 2025.
The prices of and UBC held steady on the Index.
Zorba 90% INF prices also were unchanged from the previous day.
Steel Scrap Prices
#1 HMS prices held steady on June 25, 2025.
Cast Iron Scrap also reported no change in prices.
Stainless Steel Scrap Prices
201 SS prices held steady on the Index.
304 SS Solid and 304 SS Turning prices were flat on the Index.
309 SS and 316 SS Solid prices witnessed a jump of CNY 50 per MT each when compared with the prior day.
310 SS scrap prices were up by CNY 100 per MT as of June 25, 2025.
Shred SS prices witnessed no change over the previous day.
Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices
The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China recorded no change from the previous day.
Brass Radiator scrap prices were flat as of Wednesday, June 25, 2025.
Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices held steady on the Index.
