June 11, 2025: Chinese Scrap Metal Prices Edged Higher on the Index

The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China recorded increase from the previous day.

BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese aluminum scrap prices witnessed increase on ScrapMonster Price Index as of Wednesday, June 11, 2025. Copper and Brass/Bronze scrap prices were up from the previous day. Meanwhile, Stainless Steel and Steel scrap prices held steady on the Index.
Copper Scrap Prices
The #1 Copper Bare Bright prices were up by CNY 350 per MT.
#1 Copper Wire and Tubing price saw a jump of CNY 350 per MT.
The price of #2 Copper Wire and Tubing also increased by CNY 350 per MT.
#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices were up by CNY 150 per MT over the previous day’s price. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery witnessed a jump of CNY 50 per MT when compared with the day before.
Copper Transformer and Cu Yokes scrap prices were unchanged.
Cu/Al Radiators saw an increase of CNY 50 per MT in prices.
Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices edged higher by CNY 50 per MT over the previous day.
Heater Cores were up by CNY 100 per MT on Wednesday, June 11, 2025.
In the meantime, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices witnessed no change on the Index.
Aluminum Scrap Prices
6063 Extrusions recorded a jump of CNY 250 per MT over the previous day.
Aluminum Ingots also were up by CNY 250 per MT.
The prices of Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Transformers inched higher by CNY 100 per MT each.
E.C Aluminum Wire prices were up by CNY 250 per MT on the Index.
Old Cast and Old Sheet prices increased by CNY 250 per MT each on June 11, 2025.
The prices of and UBC increased by CNY 100 per MT on the Index.
Zorba 90% INF prices also were up by CNY 100 per MT from the previous day.
Steel Scrap Prices
#1 HMS prices held steady on June 11, 2025.
Cast Iron Scrap also reported no change in prices.
Stainless Steel Scrap Prices
201 SS prices held steady on the Index.
304 SS Solid and 304 SS Turning prices were flat on the Index.
309 SS and 316 SS Solid prices witnessed no change when compared with the prior day.
310 SS scrap prices were unmoved as of June 11, 2025.
Shred SS prices witnessed no change over the previous day.
Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices
The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China recorded increase from the previous day.
Brass Radiator scrap prices were up by CNY 50 per MT as of Wednesday, June 11, 2025.
Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices edged higher by CNY 50 per MT each on the Index.
