NEW DELHI (Scrap Monster): In order to sell off the ornaments, the Indian jewelers bring new tactics before its customers. The ‘committee’ consists of 50 members of jewelers have decided to take an agreement with their customers to promote their sales.
The agreement asks the customers to pay an installment of Rs.3, 000 and Rs. 4,000 for 10 months and the last two months are paid by the jeweler. As and when the contract finishes, the customer is allowed to purchase jewelry worth the overall amount – which is equal to the monthly sum multiplied by 12.
According to the agreement, the customer gets the gold jewelry but not any cash after paying total installments. This scheme not only profitable for the customers but also the jewelers, a jeweler said.
The scheme is helpful for the middle class families who struggle to purchase the gold in bulk immediately, the jeweler added.
