Gems and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) has decided to organize diamond, gems and jewellery banking summit-2014 in Mumbai on June 28.

MUMBAI (Scrap Monster): Gems and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) has decided to organize diamond, gems and jewellery banking summit-2014 in Mumbai on June 28. The Union ministry of finance will be the chief guest at the event.
The summit expects to discuss the policies of Indian and overseas banks on lending to diamond companies, including De Beers sightholders and clients of Alrosa and Rio Tinto.
The summit may also find solution over the issues that exist in financing for the gems and jewellery sector area, the current scenario of Export Credit Insurance for Banks (ECIB) and credit guarantee in gems and jewellery industry.
