SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Results for the fourth quarter of 2024 were released by West Fraser Timber Co. Ltd. During the quarter, the firm reported a net loss of $62 million, or 0.80 per diluted share. It also reported $1,405 billion in sales.
A press release from the corporation stated that the $140 million adjusted EBITDA represented roughly 10% of revenues. An adjusted EBITDA of $21 million was reported by the lumber business. During the quarter, the Europe EWP adjusted EBITDA was $2 million, while the North America Engineered Wood Products (EWP) segment EBITDA was $127 million. Additionally, West Fraser's Pulp and Paper division reported an adjusted EBITDA loss of $10 million.

The business recorded $6,174 billion in sales and a $5 million loss, or $0.07 per diluted share, for the entire year 2024. Eleven percent of sales were reflected by the $673 million yearly adjusted EBITDA.
