DS Smith Opens First Hybrid Customer Innovation Hub in Lisbon

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): European packaging major DS Smith plc. announced opening of its first hybrid Customer Innovation Hub in Lisbon. The centre supports collaborative innovation and design sessions for customers.

The state-of-the-art Hub allows the company to connect in person with customers across the Iberian region and also with international representatives. The hybrid approach will bring together customers and packaging experts, so as to deliver state-of-the-art sustainable packaging solutions. The Customer Innovation Hub, equipped with latest audio visual technology including pan-zoom-tilt cameras, integrates virtual elements with real-world experience.

Announcing the decision, Marc Chiron, Sales, Marketing & Innovations Director, DS Smith Packaging noted that the Hub gives its Iberian customers the opportunity to enjoy an integrated experience of the Impact and PackRight Centres. It will help to further bolster its strategic alliances and offer agility and excellence in both the physical and online shopping environments, he added.
