The mill has advanced significantly in recent years as a result of the company's various digitalization initiatives. The mill's operations have been completely transformed by the recent investment in Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) and the adoption of Wedge, a revolutionary data mining platform. Through these initiatives, the company has been able to greatly reduce emissions while also optimizing the mill's efficiency.
The goal of the most recent £48 million investment in the fiber preparation line is to maximize material utilization while minimizing energy consumption.
The mill can currently produce about 83,000 tons of a variety of goods, including kraftliners, specialty papers, and corrugated case materials. The mill aims to continue its legacy as a pioneer in the paper industry.
