September 23, 2025: North American Copper Scrap Prices Held Steady on the Index

TORONTO (Scrap Monster): The North American copper scrap metal prices remained unchanged on the ScrapMonster Price Index as of Tuesday, September 23, 2025. The daily variation in prices is given below:

The price of Alternator scrap remained unchanged over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing held steady at $4.43 per Lb. #2 Copper Wire and Tubing prices were also flat on the Index. The price of #1 Copper Bare Bright witnessed no variation from the previous day’s price of $4.53 per Lb.

The prices of #1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices witnessed no variation over the previous day. #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices were unchanged on the Index. #3 Copper-Light copper prices also held steady.

The prices of Copper Radiator scrap recorded no change on the Index.

Copper Transformer Scrap remained flat, recording no change from the previous day’s price of 0.51 per Lb.

Cu Yokes prices reported no change over the previous day.

Cu/Al Radiator Ends and Cu/Al Radiators remained stable as of September 23, 2025.

Cu/Al Radiators/Fe, Harness Wire 35% Recovery, and Heater Cores prices held steady over the day.

Romex Wire prices were flat at $2.28 per Lb on the Index.

The prices of Scrap Electric Motors, Starters, Sealed units, and Xmas Lights reported no change from the previous day’s price levels.
