BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese scrap metal prices recorded mixed performance on the ScrapMonster Price Index as of Monday, March 30, 2026.
The #1 Copper Bare Bright and #1 Copper Wire and Tubing witnessed a modest jump in prices of CNY 50 per MT each over the previous day.
The price of #2 Copper Wire and Tubing also increased by CNY 50 per MT.
#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices were unchanged on the Index.
The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery recorded no variation over the previous day.
Copper Transformer and Cu Yokes prices held steady on the Index.
Cu/Al Radiator scrap prices were flat on the Index.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices were unchanged upon comparison with the prior day’s prices.
