BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese scrap metal prices were flat on the ScrapMonster Price Index as of Tuesday, February 17, 2026.
- Copper: Held steady
- Aluminum: No variation
- Brass/Bronze: Flat trend
- Stainless Steel: Witnessed no change
- Steel: Remained stable
Copper Scrap Prices
The #1 Copper Bare Bright and #1 Copper Wire and Tubing witnessed no change in prices over the previous day.
The price of #2 Copper Wire and Tubing also were flat on the Index.
#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices were unchanged. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery recorded no variation over the previous day.
Copper Transformer and Cu Yokes scrap prices held steady on the Index.
Cu/Al Radiator prices witnessed no fluctuation upon comparison with the prior day.
Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices were stable as of Tuesday, February 17, 2026.
Heater Cores prices were unchanged on the Index.
