BEIJING (Scrap Monster): Chinese scrap metal prices remained unchanged on the ScrapMonster Price Index as of Monday, April 6, 2026.

·  Copper: Prices remained steady

·  Aluminum: Showed no change

·  Brass/Bronze: Maintained a flat trend

·  Stainless Steel: Saw no variation

·  Steel: Stayed stable 

Copper Scrap Prices

#1 Copper Bare Bright and #1 Copper Wire & Tubing prices remained unchanged from the previous day.

#2 Copper Wire & Tubing prices also stayed flat on the Index.

#1 Insulated Copper Wire (85% Recovery) saw no price movement, while #2 Insulated Copper Wire (50% Recovery) remained unchanged compared to the prior day.

Copper Transformer and Cu Yokes scrap prices continued to hold steady on the Index.

Cu/Al Radiator prices showed no fluctuation from the previous day.

Harness Wire (35% Recovery) prices remained stable as of Monday, April 6, 2026.

Heater Cores prices were unchanged on the Index.

Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices also registered no variation.

Aluminum Scrap Prices

6063 Extrusions prices remained unchanged from the previous day.

Aluminum Ingots prices also stayed flat on the Index.

Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Transformers recorded no price movement.

E.C. Aluminum Wire prices showed no change on the Index.

Old Cast and Old Sheet prices held steady as of April 6, 2026.

UBC and Zorba 90% INF prices likewise remained unchanged compared to the prior day.

#1 HMS prices remained steady as of April 6, 2026.

Cast Iron Scrap prices recorded no change.

Stainless Steel Scrap Prices

·         304 SS Solid: Held steady

·         304 SS Turning: Registered no change

·         309 SS: Followed a flat trend
