Cascades' Partnership with Amazon Offers Innovative Packaging Solutions

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Cascades, Inc. announced that it has partnered with e-retailer Amazon to offer creative and innovative packaging solutions for material shipping and delivery. The company has become an official member of the Amazon Packaging Support and Supplier (APASS) network. BY offering packaging solutions that comply with the requirements and specifications of e-commerce industry, Cascades aims to create value in its customer’s supply chain.

By way of joining the network, Cascades offers its clients the essential services they need to successfully certify their packaging with Amazon. The company provides its customers with wide range of structural designs that meet or exceed the requirements of e-commerce packaging and its supply chain. The company’s R&D centre offers ISTA 6-Amazon.com testing service which helps customers meet Amazon’s packaging requirements.

Charles Malo , President and Chief Operating Officer of Cascades Containerboard Packaging noted that the APASS network membership will ensure that its packaging solutions adhere to strict standards so as to provide protection for shipped products. It also guarantees sustainable solutions to its customers. Furthermore, it enables Cascades’ vendors and manufacturing partners to meet Amazon’s requirement, Malo added.

As per estimates, e-commerce accounted for over 14% of retail sales in the U.S. in 2018, with Amazon being a key player.
