Campaign to Make a Bitcoin Island

NEW YORK (Scrap Monster): Robbie Andrews, of bit.coin.je, an industry body set up has been looking forward to promote and campaign for the newly invented virtual money, Bitcoin. He has put forward the idea to establish a "Bitcoin Isle".

As per the report, Treasury Minister Senator Philip Ozouf said he welcomed Jersey to be an initial leader in the field.

However, due to the potential for money laundering and other illegal activity, the world nations are yet not accepted the Bitcoin.

Last year, the FBI closed down online marketplace Silk Road because the site traded in drugs and other illegal goods and made transactions by using "crypto-currencies" such as Bitcoin.
