21st March, 2017: Scrap gold and platinum prices surge, Silver declines

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The daily scrap gold and platinum prices - hallmarked and non- hallmarked were up on Tuesday, 21^st March on the ScrapMonster Price Index. However, the prices of Silver scrap fell marginally over the day.

In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices went higher by $ 4.88 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap also went higher by $ 6.26 per Oz and $ 7.64 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap prices increased by $ 3.13 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap increased by $ 1.45 per Oz to reach $ 701.41 per Oz. Silver scrap prices edged lower by $ 0.07 per Oz.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices went higher by $ 4.62 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap too went up by $ 5.92 and $ 7.22 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also increased by $ 2.96 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap witnessed up move of $ 1.45 per Oz to reach $ 701.41 per Oz. Silver scrap prices dropped by $0.06 per Oz over the previous day.
