Chinese average crude steel output rises during mid-September

According to weekly data released by the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) , the aggregate daily crude steel output of large and medium sized member enterprises was up by 0.97% during mid-September

Chinese average crude steel output rises during mid-September

BEIJING (Scrap Monster) : According to weekly data released by the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) , the aggregate daily crude steel output of large and medium sized member enterprises was up by 0.97% during mid-September (September 11 to 20) compared to early-September (September 1st to 10th).

The country’s average daily crude steel output by CISA members during mid-September totaled 1.7795 million tonne, rising by 0.97% when compared to the average daily output during early September (September 1st to 10th). The average aggregate daily crude steel output by all steelmakers in China during mid September totaled 2.1435 million tonne, higher by 0.66% in comparison with the output during early September.

The country’s average daily crude steel output by CISA members during early September (September 1st  to 10th) totaled 1.7625 million tonne, up 1.29% when compared to the average daily output during late-August (August 21st to 31st). Meanwhile, the average aggregate daily crude steel production of all steelmakers in China during early September was estimated at 2.1294 million mt, higher by 0.48% in comparison with the output during late-August.

China Iron and Steel Association is a national, non-profit organization founded in 1999. CISA members consist of China’s steel enterprises, institutions, societies and individuals in the iron and steel industry. CISA links Chinese iron & steel industry with the government, to provide “two-way services” to Chinese steelmakers and institutions.
