Chinese average crude steel output rises during mid-September

BEIJING (Scrap Monster) : According to weekly data released by the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) , the aggregate daily crude steel output of large and medium sized member enterprises was up by 0.97% during mid-September (September 11 to 20) compared to early-September (September 1^st to 10^th).

The country’s average daily crude steel output by CISA members during mid-September totaled 1.7795 million tonne, rising by 0.97% when compared to the average daily output during early September (September 1^st to 10^th). The average aggregate daily crude steel output by all steelmakers in China during mid September totaled 2.1435 million tonne, higher by 0.66% in comparison with the output during early September.

The country’s average daily crude steel output by CISA members during early September (September 1^st  to 10^th) totaled 1.7625 million tonne, up 1.29% when compared to the average daily output during late-August (August 21^st to 31^st). Meanwhile, the average aggregate daily crude steel production of all steelmakers in China during early September was estimated at 2.1294 million mt, higher by 0.48% in comparison with the output during late-August.
