Castle Peak drills high grade Gold at Akorade

ACCRA (Scrap Monster): Castle Peak Mining Ltd. (TSXV:CAP) intersected high-grade gold at the Apankrah target within its Akorade Project in southern Ghana.

According to the company, the best result recorded returned 79.9 grams per ton gold over 6.0 meters, including 296.4 g/t gold over 1.6 meters.

Darren Lindsay, president and chief executive officer of Castle Peak stated that, “These results continue to provide encouragement for additional high-grade potential in the Apankrah target area in general. And, given the coarse nature of the gold observed, we are modeling the various veins and inferred controlling structures in order to determine additional upside by increasing the drilling density and additional target evaluation."

These results come from eight of 14 holes drilled. The company is waiting on the remaining six holes.

Castle Peak is a Canadian-based exploration and development company focused in Ghana.
