Residential

To make disposing of your trash easy, ecotech offers 96-gallon trash cans on wheels, known as toters, to our collection customers. ecotech prides itself in providing professional, friendly, efficient service, with the up-most concern and care for your property and privacy.

Yard Waste

ecotech offers yard waste recycling to our residential customers. With disposal capacity of many landfills at a premium, many counties, cities, and municipalities in Kentucky have regulations that do not allow yard waste to be mixed with trash. Yard waste recycling diverts waste from landfills, providing communities a source of compost and other fertilizer products, and offers an effective and convenient way to dispose of grass, leaves, tree limbs and other yard waste. At ecotech, yard waste is an optional service that is prepaid. Yard waste service is broken into two periods, April thru August and September thru December. Our customers who want their yard waste collected are given the option of selecting one or both periods. Company policy dictates what types of yard waste material can be picked up and the volume. To request yard waste service, please complete and mail the Yard Waste Signup Form.

Recycling

Caring for the environment is a leading concern of Eco Tech. We pride ourselves in being a locally owned company whose management, employees, and their families reside in the community. An important part of our concern for the environment and future of our children is to best utilize our natural resources. ecotech offers single source curbside recycling to all of our customers for a nominal monthly charge. Recycling bins can be purchased through ecotech or you can use your own container. A list of materials we collect can be found here.

ecotech provides two different levels of home collection to meet our customer's needs:

• Unlimited Service allows for once a week pickup of unlimited household waste, plus one large or bulky item per month. Household waste consists of normal everyday waste from kitchens, bathrooms, and living rooms. Large and bulky items include furniture, water heaters and appliances. Freon must be removed from air conditioners and refrigerators prior to collection and must have a certified electrician tag.
• Limited Service is ideally designed for customers who generate less trash and consists of once a week collection of two cans or less.

Demolition

During the coming years, the demolition and disposal of buildings and other structural waste continues to be one of the fastest growing cost centers for municipalities and private corporations. How to deal with the disposal of this waste materials will be increasingly difficult. Tightening restrictions on collection, processing and disposal leave managers at risk for high fines and potential litigation for improper disposal without sourcing a specialized consultant. ecotech's management of waste ensures proper assessment of current needs, strategic partnering to ensure rates are reasonable and consistent, as well as monitoring service on all levels.

We offer demolition and debris removal and can provide a custom program based on the task at hand. Demolition projects can involve the removal and processing of asbestos, lead-contaminated materials, used chemical and hazardous material storage tanks, chemical processing resources and pipelines. Our staff is experienced in all aspects of waste material handling.

Construction & Demolition Waste

ecotech's recycling capabilities provide an alternative to the basic disposal of construction and demolition debris in landfills. We are leading the way by finding innovative ways to recycle or beneficially reuse these materials when possible. Our approach to waste issues allows us to offer our customers competitive prices for each job.
