Bin To Bottle Partners with Napa Recycling & Waste Services to Recycle Wastewater

SEATTLE (Waste Advantage): Bin To Bottle, one of Napa Valley’s leading custom crush winery and beverage service company, announces a partnership with Napa Recycling and Waste Services to enhance the community compost supply with nutrients, minerals, and organic material from their winery wastewater Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor. “We are pleased that we have been able to utilize the vital resources in the wastewater stream of our winery and beverage service company to enhance agriculture in the region by enriching compost supplies,” said Matthew Glynn, the Chief Operating Officer of Bin To Bottle. Will Kelley, the Resource Manager for Napa Waste and Recycling, said, “we are pleased to work with local businesses to enhance our composting efforts by enriching and moistening the compost during the aerative process.”

Some of the ready-to-drink cocktails fermented, blended, and canned at Bin To Bottle incorporate oolong tea, agave syrup, and spearmint leaves. These ingredients contribute complexity and richness to the compost. Bin To Bottle invested in a Lyve Wastewater Treatment System during the early stages of growth of the Bin To Bottle Beverage Company to minimize the impact of their wastewater stream on the regional water system.
