Nexwaste primarily operates in a Texas Triangle of Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio, saying that this strategy keeps them focused on one of the fastest -growing areas in the country.
SEATTLE (Waste Advantage): Nexwaste, Austin, TX, has purchased three companies in the residential waste business. Country Corridor and Samson Disposal, both of which collect residential waste, and Farmers Disposal, which also collects residential waste in addition to operating a rolloff dumpster division, were acquired recently by Nexwaste. All are located in the Magnolis/Tomball/Houston area of Texas. Terms of the deals were not released.
In keeping with its growth strategy and its motto, Run By Operators, Nexwaste plans to keep on management and other staff from the three companies. This will provide continuity and give current customers comfort in working with a known quantity, but Nexwaste will also provide expertise to help those entities prosper more fully. An example of this is Dean Gorby, Country Corridor’s owner, will continue with the company as Chief Operating Officer.
“Having Dean stay with the company he started is part and parcel to our growth strategy,” says Walter Biel, Nexwaste CEO. “We want customers to feel comfortable with our ownership while keeping the personnel who made companies like Country Corridor leaders in their market.”
kris Hawkins, Newwaste Director/Partner, adds, “We are looking to work with company owners who want to see their businesses continue and not see the firm parted out by a large company. As our management team has been in the waste business for years, we understand this is how some company owners feel, and this is a niche we are serving.”
