Amrep Expands East Coast Facility to Produce Automated Side Load, Front Load and Rear Load Trucks

SEATTLE (Waste Advantage): Amrep, a leading provider of refuse collection vehicles for more than 50 years, announced the major expansion of its North Carolina-based facility in partnership with the North Carolina Department of Commerce. The company, which is part of the Wastequip® family of brands, opened the original Salisbury, North Carolina, facility in 2018, expanding its manufacturing footprint to the East Coast from its headquarters in Ontario, California. The new 80,000-square-foot campus enables the local production of Automated Side Loaders (ASLs), Front Load and Rear Load refuse collection vehicles, serving as a key distribution point for national, municipal and regional customers. Additionally, its proximity to an alternate fuel provider enables Amrep to provide turnkey solutions for natural gas trucks.
