Organization

The VetroSwiss office has been run by ATAG Wirtschaftseinrichtungen AG since January 1, 2015 on behalf of the Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN). With around 80 employees, ATAG Wirtschaftsorganisation AG (AWO) provides organizations in the private and public sectors with experienced specialists for management and project management. The AWO provides professional services for organizations and their members as an office.

Order

VetroSwiss collects and administers advanced disposal fees (VEG) for beverage packaging made of glass and pays compensation to the authorized service providers from the fee monies. VetroSwiss also informs the population about all aspects of glass recycling. Advance disposal fees are charged on beverage packaging made of glass with a filling volume of 0.09 liters or more.

Objectives

VetroSwiss strives for a lean and transparent organization around glass recycling in order to be able to pay the service providers entitled to compensation optimized contributions from the fees for their services.
