Sims Recycling ranked top among Nashville technology service firms

NASHVILLE (Scrap Monster): The Illinois-based Sims Recycling Solutions has been ranked as one of the top technology service firms in Nashville area by the Nashville Business Journal. The global IT asset disposal (ITAD) service provider has been ranked 21st in the list. Nashville Business Journal ranks companies based on the number of local employees in its roll.

The award is a big recognition for local employees who are engaged in data erasure and IT asset refurbishment activities. The internal company staff does a great job, carrying out these tasks in a highly challenging environment. The demand for end-of-life asset management has increased multi-fold during recent years, noted Sean Magann, vice president of Sims Recycling Solutions.

The state-of-the-art electronics reuse and recycling facility in LaVergne, Tennessee offers most modern and safest electronic asset disposition services. The ITAD service offered by the LaVergne site includes secure data erasure, asset recovery and resale, and environmentally responsible shredding and separation.

Sims Recycling Solutions- the recycling division of Sims Metal Management- provide IT and electronics recovery, reuse and recycling services to OEMs, CEMs, compliance scheme operators, businesses and government organizations throughout Europe, America and APAC. Sims Recycling Solutions operates 42 owned and operated sites across the globe. The company had recently announced that the R2 certifications at all of the company’s US operations have been upgraded from R2:2008 to the latest R2:2013 standards.
