28th Oct, 2014: Scrap Gold, Silver and Platinum see marginal decline

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The daily scrap gold and silver prices - hallmarked and non- hallmarked declined Tuesday, 28^th October on the ScrapMonster Price Index. Platinum scrap prices too slumped.

In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices were down by $ 1.27 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap inched lower by $ 1.63 and $ 2.00 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also went lower by $ 0.82 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap saw cut of $ 0.73 per Oz to reach $ 913.59 per Oz. Silver scrap prices too closed slightly on the lower side at $14.14 per Oz, edging lower by $ 0.01 per Oz.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices edged lower by $ 1.21 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap were down $ 1.54 and $ 1.89 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap also was down $ 0.77 per Oz. Platinum scrap prices fell by $ 0.73 per Oz. Meantime, Non-hallmarked silver scrap prices witnessed a fall of $ 0.01 per Oz.
