Film Plastic Recycling

The loose film recovery program currently helps divert roughly 8 million pounds of plastic out of our local landfills each year.

After the initial setup in the loose film program, Westcoast will drop off storage bins that fit your particular recycling need. A collection truck will then be sent to your location on a weekly, bi-monthly or monthly basis, depending on the volume of plastic your company is generating. Most of the common film plastic that Westcoast Plastic Recycling collects are from either the high or low density polyethylene family and a small amount of polypropylene.

Rigid Plastic Recycling

The rigid scrap recycling program is a service for collection of waste plastic scrap.After the initial setup on the rigid scrap program, Westcoast Plastic Recycling will drop off storage bins that fit your particular recycling need. Any rigid scrap generated is put into one of Westcoast's storage solution totes. It is then trucked to our facility and processed to later be remanufactured into new products.

Pill Bottle recycling

Westcoast is now offering a pill bottlle recycling program specifically designed for your pharmacy. Currently, we have a few different container types that we can provide to your buisiness for both primary storage of the bottles (Inside your pharmacy) and secondary storage containers (stored outside or in a loading dock)
