About Us
E Platt & Sons was established in 1872 by Edward Platt and has been in the family ever since. The firm originated by collecting glass bottles and other bits of metal.
Today we operate much differently, we buy all types of metals, such as, lead, brass, aluminium, stainless and copper (eg. copper tube, copper cylinders, braziery copper, bright copper wire etc.) As well as non ferrous metal, we also buy ferrous metals (Steel & Iron) at competitive prices. We guarantee that the prices we pay are always at the top of the market and the weights are 100% accurate.
