About Yard

Serving Utah for Over 90 Years!

Bloom Recyclers is one of Northern Utah’s first and foremost providers of recycling services. We accept all recyclable material, which includes hundreds of items from steel and aluminum to paper and plastics. Plus, we’ll pay top market prices for your material.

History of Bloom

Established over 100 years ago, Bloom Recycling is a family-owned and operated company with deep roots in Northern Utah.Originally established in Brigham City in 1909 by Lion Bloom, the great-grandfather of current owner Dorothy Thyberg, it started with purchasing rags and processed animal hides to recycle. The company gradually became a full-service recycling facility serving consumers and business clients — and moved to Ogden where they occupied two different locations before moving to 690 West Exchange Road in 2001.

Bloom Recyclers continues to be invested in keeping our community green. Their services in commercial recycling help business clients do their part in keeping recyclable materials out of landfills. They make it easy with various sizes of recyling bins and pick-up services.*

Who We Are

At Bloom Recyclers, recycling is not just a business — it’s a way of life. We firmly believe in protecting our environment, ensuring that Utah is a safe and beautiful place to raise our families for years to come. That’s why we ensure that the items you bring to Bloom Recyclers are shipped to their final destination where they are processed and/or melted down to create new materials.

Recycling should be a daily task for businesses and families alike. Our landfills are quickly filling with easily recycled materials, further endangering our eco-system. You’re never too young (or too old!) to learn how to recycle, and we can help make the process easier! We are always interested in helping with educational, fundraising and community clean-up programs.

We offer a variety of services to meet your recycling needs. From one bag of cans to an entire warehouse worth of materials that need to be prepared on-site, we can help. Our facility is equipped with state of the art software and machinery to get you the best price for your items while providing a smooth experience. With over 100 years in the industry we know our stuff. Numerous members of our staff have been in the business for over a decade.

We are always interested in helping with educational, fundraising and community clean-up programs, so please contact us with any questions.

We have all been there. Your phone charger breaks of you upgrade the doorknobs in your home, don't throw it away, recycle it! There are so many items that people do not realize are recyclable. Instead of recycling them they are ending up in the landfill. Why not take those items to Bloom Recyclers and get some money instead of paying to dispose of them.
