US H1 scrap average prices held steady for third consecutive week

ALBANY (Scrap Monster): The US H1 scrap price average prices were at $362.50 per long ton, as on 29^th September, 2014. The scrap average prices remained unchanged from the previous week.

The average price of US H1 scrap in Pittsburgh, Chicago and Philadelphia was $362.50 per long ton, remaining flat from the previous week.  

The H1 scrap average price in Pittsburg was $369.50 per long ton.  The average price maintained the previous week’s price. In Chicago the prices averaged at $369.50 per long ton, holding steady and keeping the previous week’s price levels. The average price in Philadelphia was $348.50 per long ton. The prices here too witnessed no change from a week before.

The H1 prices averaged at $285.83 per long ton in New York, Houston and Boston, down by $10.0 per ton when compared with the previous week prices.

This is the third straight week that US H1 scrap prices have remained steady.
