Steady gains for North American copper scrap: Market Update July 24, 2014

MONTREAL (Scrap Monster) : The North American copper scrap prices rebounded sharply on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on July 24th, Thursday.

The price of Alternator scrap moved higher by $0.01 per Lb. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing rose by $0.06 per Lb. #2 Copper Wire and Tubing prices were also up by $0.06 per Lb. The price of #1 Copper Bare Bright went higher by $ 0.06 per Lb.

The prices of #1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery saw an up move of $0.02 per Lb. #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices too moved higher by $0.02 per Lb. #3 Copper-Light copper prices went higher by $0.05 per Lb to reach $2.85 per Lb.

The prices of Copper Radiator scrap inched higher by $0.02 per Lb. Copper Transformer Scrap prices saw up move of $0.01 per Lb. CuYokes and Cu/Al Radiator Ends prices too increased by $0.01 per Lb each on July 24th.

Meanwhile, the price of Cu/Al Radiators and Cu/Al Radiators/Fe were up by $0.02 per Lb each.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery and Heater cores prices moved higher by $0.02 each.

The price of Romex Wire increased by $0.03 per Lb.     

The prices of Scrap Electric Motors, Sealed units, Starters and Xmas Lights too appreciated by $0.01 per Lb.
