Nordic Paper Enters Into New Agreement to Boost Mill Productivity

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Nordic Paper has entered into a five-year contract with SKF, aimed at improving the company’s production, health and safety performance and sustainability features. The new contract will cover Nordic’s Saffle site which produces natural greaseproof paper.

The new fee-and performance-based agreement will result in increased automation and digitization of paper machine No.2 in Saffle plant. The work involving installation of 500 lubrication points and 230 condition monitoring points has already commenced this summer. All these works are connected to SKF's IMx monitoring system, which enables live monitoring and analysis of data from connected machinery at SKF’s Rotating Equipment Performance Center in Gothenburg, Sweden.
