E-Waste Recycler Declares Major Facility Expansion to Boost Capabilities

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Illinois-headquartered certified e-waste recycling service provider Advanced Technology Recycling (ATR) announced opening of larger facilities in Salt Lake City, Utah and Las Vegas, Nevada. The expansion is likely to boost the processing and servicing capabilities of the company’s ITAD management and recycling operations along the West Coast and make it more convenient for local customers.

According to company press release, its existing Tooele Utah facility located at 135 Lodestone Way has been relocated to a new 30,000 square foot facility located at 1130 South 3800 Street, West Suite 200 Salt Lake City, UT 84104. The new facility has seven loading docks aimed at providing better customer service. The facility offers ground level access. It comprises of a showroom featuring popular products. The official grand opening of the expanded facility is expected to be held this spring.

The company’s newest site will be located in Las Vegas, NV. The Vegas facility will be the company’s ninth location and is scheduled to open during late January 2019.

Company spokesman Brodie Ehresman noted that the new locations were necessary to expand its logistics, managed IT services and ITAD programs throughout the U.S. The expansions are the outcome of overwhelming, long-pending requests from its customers for additional logistics facilities to reduce their costs, Ehresman added.

Earlier in January last year, the company had relocated its Grand Rapids Michigan operations to a larger facility to an industrial complex located in 355 Cottage Grove.
