17th Sep, 2014: Chinese Scrap Prices close on mixed note

BEIJING (Scrap Monster):  The Chinese scrap prices closed on a mixed note on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on Wednesday, September 17th.

#1 HMS prices remained unchanged from the prices a day before. The price of #1 Bare Bright Copper Wire increased by CNY 700 per MT over the day. The prices of #1 Copper and #2 Copper prices too witnessed a rise of CNY 700 per MT.

201 Stainless Steel prices remained flat over the day. The prices of 304 Stainless Steel and 316 Stainless Steel prices too remained unchanged over the previous day.

Al/Cu Radiator scrap prices were up by CNY 200 per MT, whereas Cast Iron Scrap prices saw no change in price as on 17th September, 2014.

Nickel scrap prices declined by CNY 200 per MT.  Nickel scrap traded at CNY 126,700 per MT.

Shred Stainless Steel prices held steady over the day.

Shred Zinc prices increased by CNY 100 per MT to touch CNY 12,400 per MT.

Soft Lead prices too were up by CNY 50 per MT.
