14th February, 2018: Scrap Gold and Platinum Prices Rose, Silver Declined on Index

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The daily scrap gold and platinum prices - hallmarked and non- hallmarked were up on Wednesday, 14^th February on the ScrapMonster Price Index. However, the prices of Silver scrap fell marginally over the day.

In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices went higher by $ 6.18 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap also went higher by $ 7.93 per Oz and $ 9.68 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap prices increased by $ 3.97 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap increased by $ 2.92 per Oz to reach $ 706.52 per Oz. Silver scrap prices declined by $0.02 per Oz to touch $13.65 per Oz when compared with the prior day.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices went higher by $ 5.85 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap too went up by $ 7.50 and $ 9.16 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also increased by $ 3.75 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap witnessed up move of $ 2.92 per Oz to reach $ 706.52 per Oz. Silver scrap prices remained unchanged at $12.12 per Oz over the previous day.
