10th January, 2019: Chinese Scrap Metal Prices Declined on Index

BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese Copper and Aluminum scrap prices declined modestly on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on January 10^th, Thursday. Steel, Brass and Bronze scrap prices witnessed no change on Index when compared with the previous day. Meantime, Stainless Steel scrap prices too held steady over the day.

Copper Scrap Prices

#1 Copper Bare Bright prices were down by CNY 200 per MT over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing and #2 Copper Wire and Tubing too declined by CNY 200 per MT each.

#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices dropped marginally by CNY 50 per MT on Index over the previous day. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices too was down by CNY 50 per MT.

Copper Transformer prices were flat on Index when matched with the prior day.

Cu Yokes and Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices too reported no change over the previous day.

Cu/Al Radiator scrap and Heater Cores prices reported decline by CNY 50 per MT each on Thursday, January 10^th.

Meantime, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices reported no change from the previous day.

Aluminum Scrap Prices

6063 Extrusions witnessed a price decline of CNY 50 per MT over the previous day.

Aluminum Ingots too dropped by CNY 50 per MT.

The prices of Aluminum Radiators  and Aluminum Transformers saw no change.

E.C Aluminum Wire prices dropped by CNY 50 per MT.

Old Cast prices too witnessed a down move of CNY 50 per MT on 10^th January, 2019.

The prices of Old Sheets saw a down move of CNY 50 per MT.

UBC and Zorba 90% NF prices saw no variation.

Steel Scrap Prices

#1 HMS prices held steady on 10^th January, 2019.

Cast Iron Scrap too reported no change in prices.

Stainless Steel Scrap Prices

201 SS prices were unchanged on Index.

304 SS Solid prices too remained flat over the previous day.

The price of 304 SS Turning saw no change on Index.

310 SS prices reported no variation in prices.

309 SS and 316 SS Solid scrap prices were flat on January 10^th.

Shred SS prices too saw no variation in prices over the day.

 Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices

The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China remained unchanged on Index.

Brass Radiator scrap prices held steady on January 10^th, 2019.

Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices too were flat on Index.
