Common Reasons Your Account May Be Flagged
- Unverified Email Address: Make sure you've clicked the verification link sent to your inbox. If you didn't receive it, log in and click "Resend Verification Email" at the top of your dashboard.
- Spam Detection: Posting the same message repeatedly or using non-industry language can trigger our spam filter. Avoid generic promotions and use industry-specific keywords instead.
- Non-Industry Listings: Listings unrelated to recycling, scrap metal, or industry tools are not allowed. Keep all posts relevant to ScrapMonster's scope.
- Inappropriate Messaging: Do not send messages that include suspicious links or ask for personal/contact details outside the platform.
How to Resolve a Flagged Account
- Log in to your account: https://www.scrapmonster.com/myscrapmonster
- Check the top of your dashboard for any alert messages (such as email verification or content violations).
- Correct any listings that were flagged. Keep all content scrap/recycling-related.
- If flagged in error, contact our support team: support@scrapmonster.com

- Use your company email and avoid using "email at domain dot com" formatting.
- Promote your services using different message formats - avoid copy-pasting the same message repeatedly.
