Wissels Groep is a family business that has existed since 1920. The Wissels Groep has been active since 2012 from its new building at Verlengde Ooyerhoekseweg 9 in Zutphen . We are engaged in 3 main activities:

1. Rental of waste containers to companies and individuals

2. Transshipment, recycling and transport of waste

3. Sale of sand, gravel and soil

Our company is both ISO and VCA certified. In addition, when processing the various waste flows, we work according to the latest environmental rules in order to make an active contribution to a more sustainable living environment.

100 years of history

This year exactly 100 years ago, Gerrit Wissels started to transport sand and gravel by horse and carriage. In 1936 the grandfather of the current director Frank Wissels bought his first truck; an important milestone in history.

In the 1960s, the second generation Wissels took over the company. Robbie Wissels expanded the company with earthmoving and tipping transport. With the move to our current modern building in 2012, an important new activity was added: transfer and recycling of waste.

Wissels Groep had meanwhile come under the leadership of the third generation Wissels. With Frank Wissels at the helm, the focus on waste processing has been further expanded. Wissels Groep has grown into one of the market leaders in the rental of construction containers in the region.
