Since 1937, Winski Brothers has been a family-owned and operated business. Starting with Moses Winski and being passed down to his son, Bernard, and then grandson, Sherman. Winski Brothers remained with a Winski owning and operating the day to day business aspects until August of 2021.

On August 10, 2021 Winski Brothers was bought by another generational family, from the recycling industry, the Byers. In the early 1930's great grandpa James Otis could be found running the Kaufman Scrap Metal yard alongside Les. This passion for scrap was passed to his son, Jim Eddie, who ventured into his own yard, in the early 70s, at Lebanon Iron and metal. He operated that yard until transitioning into a postion with Kastles. During those years, Jim (current owner) cultivated a love and knowledge for the recycling and waste indsutries. This love and decades of experience led to the creation of Priority Recycling,. After 20 years of being an independent brokerage and consultant, the purchase of Winkski Brothers has allowed us to expand with physical locations, to better serve our customers needs.
