Health & Safety

Vertex is committed to Health and Safety and is in good standing with the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB). We develop a site-specific health and safety plan for every site we work on.

All of our field staff undergo a rigorous health & safety training program which includes:

• Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS)
• Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG)
• Petroleum Oriented Safety Training (POST)
• First Aid with CPR training
• Quantitative Respirator Fit Testing
• Vertex pump and equipment operation

Sites are unique and often require specialized training. Vertex has filled out numerous Client Pre-Qualifications and has completed other specialized training including:
