Van Dyke Energy Company and its predecessor companies have explored and operated offshore oil and gas frontiers for more than 60 years.  After the company’s first two decades of activity onshore Texas and Louisiana, Chairman and CEO Gene Van Dyke concentrated activity offshore frontier areas of the world beginning with the Dutch North Sea in 1972, then deepwater West Africa (1996 to 2011).  The company has an active program in the Dutch North Sea where, among other activity, the company holds non-operator interests in the P/8a Horizon West oil field, the P/9 Horizon oil field and the P/15 Rijn oil field.
