Triple-S Steel Co. was founded in 1960 by Bruce Stein. It began as a small steel supply center selling new and used steel adjacent to his father's scrap yard. Since that time it has been passed down to the next generation and has grown to be one of America's largest family owned structural steel service centers.  ​  The Triple-S family of companies is comprised of different names operating with offices and warehouse facilities in several cities offering over 200,000 tons of stock inventory available for sale everyday.  ​  It was more than 30 years ago when Triple-S increased its product offerings to include fabrication hardware, welding equipment, safety supplies, and decorative ornamental metals. It was one of the first companies to offer a true "one stop shop" for the small steel fabricator.  ​  We are pleased to offer Triple-S Steel in Salt Lake City UT, R&S Steel in Grand Junction CO, & Intsel Steel in Farmington NM to better serve our western customers.
