Our mission

Our mission is to help Vermonters who are helping to save the planet; one green bucket at a time. Together we are reducing landfill waste, helping local farmers and making food waste recycling easy and affordable. The food scraps you save are going to feed animals and also to making compost that will enrich the soil and make more food for all.

We are currently accepting customers from all towns in Washington County and some in Orange county.

Making composting easy

All of our buckets are food grade and have been rescued from the landfill themselves. It's a great way to collect your food scraps so they can be used for animal feed and turned into rich compost.

Why choose us?

Because we've made it easy to save your food scraps from the landfill and to have those scraps turned into compost. We currently keep 2 tons per week from entering the landfill. Our food grade buckets will not contaminate the environment. Our screw-on top for the bucket makes a tight seal to minimize smells and to make opening and closing the bucket a snap. They also reduce the potential for pets and other animals (and children) to get into the bucket. We have had a green bucket in the house for over a week and there was no smell except when it was opened. And when we pick up your food scraps we will leave you a newly cleaned bucket!
