Tramontina USA is a leading manufacturer of high quality cookware and housewares products supplied to national and international retailers. Founded in 1986 in the state of Texas, the company is one of the largest corporate affiliates of the Tramontina Group in Brazil.

The Texas corporation operates from its campus located in the city of Sugar Land (near Houston), which hosts its corporate office, warehouses, product assembly facilities and distribution centers.

In 2005, Tramontina USA established a factory in the state of Wisconsin. Located in the city of Manitowoc, the subsidiary company, Tramontina U.S. Cookware, produces aluminum cookware vessels. The manufacturing process provides a variety of options for finishes, such as hard anodized, colored ceramic-coated, colored porcelain enamel, bright multi-colored exterior and polished and satin commercial-grade aluminum alloy 3004.

In the process, these finishes are combined with the best and latest generations of PFOA-free nonstick and ceramic coatings available from the world’s leading manufacturers.

Cookware vessels are transported from the factory in Manitowoc to the Tramontina Sugar Land campus, where they are processed and assembled with imported components such as handles and lids. The cookware is finally packed for distribution and sale through our domestic and international retail partners.

Manufacturing in the United States honors the proud legacy, traditions and craftsmanship perfected throughout the last 100 years by the Tramontina Group, an international consortium founded in 1911 by Valentin Tramontina and headquartered in Rio Grande Do Sul, the southernmost state of Brazil. The Tramontina Group operates 11 modern factories and 12 distribution centers worldwide, and is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of household goods, ranging from cookware and cutlery to flatware and kitchen utensils.
