This is a joint venture of Dan Burda of Chicago, Rose-Marie Sarkis of Montreal Canada, Patricia Donzelli of Lugano Switzerland, and Mike Coletta of New York and Mario Pasqualinni of Como and Padua ( Padova ) Italy. The product line was based on the original 1966 designs of Dan Burda and the shredderhotline.com family of recycling systems and equipment.

In 1990 the TPA brand was promoted and in 2008 the TPA brand was continued into the tpatrituratori.com brand and the tpashredder.com brand.

The product line is now manufactured worldwide in Europe, North America and Asia.
