We have been a Bochum-based company since 2002, specializing in the professional disposal and recycling of old tires. In addition to being certified as a waste disposal company by DEKRA, the Ruhr tire group has also been a long-standing member of the BRV (Federal Association of Tire Dealers and Vulcanisers) and is a member of ZARE (Certified Waste Tire Disposal Company). At our location in Bochum we have a storage area of approx. 20,000m², where we process over 8,000 tons of used tires every year.

All incoming tires are checked and sorted in our company by trained staff and finally fed back into the production cycle:

Thermal use (combustion in cement works)

Material recycling (granulation)

Our efforts are primarily aimed at recycling tires that are no longer usable as far as possible in order to reuse the individual raw materials, especially rubber and steel, and thus conserve valuable resources. Wheel rims are sent to steel mills, where the steel or aluminum is ultimately returned to the circular economy production process.
