Having been formed several years prior both AL Resources and Integrali Ltd were very successful trading companies dealing in all grades of ferrous and non-ferrous scraps.

In August 2009, Chinook Sciences LLC, a scientific-research engineering company responsible for the development of the RODECS System, purchased a shareholding in the company.In late 2009 Tandom acquired the assets and Congleton based premises of FE Mottram Ltd – one of the largest aluminium ingot producers in the UK.Combining the expertise and years of experience of these three companies, together with the 5 acre Congleton site, a near-perfect platform to drive the business forward was created. Tandom has both the in-depth knowledge and specialist facilities to process most grades of material to exploit their full value and therefore enhance its position as a market leader in the scrap metal sector.In conjunction with Nick Rose in July 2012 Tandom Metallurgical Group Ltd set up a trading company based in the Midlands. The company Tandom Metallurgical (Midlands) Ltd controls most of the international trade for the Tandom Group.We produce a full range of Aluminium Alloy Ingots to both UK and International specifications. Equally we can produce alloys to customer defined specifications.Tandom handles and processes most grades of used beverage cans from kerbside collection to clean new production filler scrap. Transforming lower grade material,  via the Untha shredder and Rodecs de-lacquering plant, from contaminated waste into clean foundry feedstock.In conjunction with Tandom Metallurgical (midlands) Ltd we handle and process all types of nonferrous scrap from low grade motors to high grade copper scraps. In conjunction with a dedicated logistics department which ensures efficient problem free shipping.As both a trading entity and a producer, we are able to process and handle the majority of the Non-Ferrous metal grades.Drosses can be directly melted in the Tilt Rotary Furnace (TRF) or if of a lower grade can be milled to produce a metallic (concentrate) prior to melting. Having this flexibility in processing ensures the most cost effective processing of all grades of drosses.
