Who We Are

Systel Business Equipment is the largest independent dealer of office automation equipment in the Southeast. Now, more than 40 years since being established, Systel has become an award-winning, multi-million dollar company that proudly serves all 100 counties of North Carolina as well as parts of South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, and Virginia.

What We Do

 Systel recognizes that business needs are changing, and has focused much of its efforts on working with manufacturers who are developing technologies that are designed to help effectively and efficiently manage businesses. In order to stand behind the products we promote, Systel tests all of the latest technology within our own business environment to ensure the products and services are up to par for our customers.

Where We Come From

Systel Business Equipment was founded on November 1, 1981, by current President and CEO Keith Allison in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Beginning with a handful of employees, Systel has now grown to over 250 employees and has since become a leader in its industry. Allison’s three daughters are all working in the business with the intent to sustain the company’s success by expanding product offerings and solutions that offer innovation and sustainability, all while continuing to carry out their father’s vision.

0% Corrugate / Cardboard Waste

 One key initiative is our commitment to achieving 0% corrugate/cardboard waste. Any corrugated/cardboard material that cannot be re-purposed is stored on site and then hauled away by Sonoco Recycling for proper recycling and re-purposing. Between June 2023 and July 2025, we were able to recycle 92,000 lbs. of corrugated/cardboard material, showcasing our dedication to reducing waste.

Recyclable Waste Sorting and Processing

 We have dedicated processes and personnel in place to sort and process recyclable waste generated by our industry. Instead of contributing to landfills, we break down components into recyclable states, such as separating consumed parts into plastic and metal sections.
