Beginning in the home construction trade as a teenager , Zach always had an eye for detail and a devotion to fine finishes. After graduating from WyoTech in 2005, Zach entered the world of custom car building, specializing in hot rods and desert racers, and becoming highly skilled in sheet metal and steel tube fabrication. A changing economy led him to the solar energy industry where he refined his solar and electrical skills, learned the intricacies of project estimates and bidding, and presided over the installation of many innovative solar power systems in Sonoma County and the Bay Area. Next came an opportunity to serve as Shop Foreman for a custom fabrication company specializing in high-end interior home and hotel furnishings made from metal. Beginning with an artistic vision, Zach used his skills to create functional pieces of unique art, incorporating ornamental steel, aluminum, brass and cast bronze, with blacksmithing, patina and various metal finishing techniques. These works can be found in some of the finest homes and commercial structures throughout the world. Finally , in 2016, Zach decided to go into business for himself. Working out of his shop in Guerneville, he added milling, lathe work, plasma cutting and several specialty tools to his growing repertoire of skilled services. Now, he is ready to turn your ideas and dreams into finely finished works of practical art.
